Digital Impressions

Digital Impressions

Digital impressions use a small handheld scanner to create a precise three-dimensional model of your teeth, eliminating the need for traditional putty molds. The process is faster, more comfortable, and more accurate. Dr. Carroll uses digital impressions for crowns, bridges, veneers, Invisalign® treatment planning, and other restorations that require a precise fit.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral Cameras

An intraoral camera is a small, wand-shaped instrument that captures high-resolution images of the inside of your mouth and displays them on a chairside screen in real time. It allows Dr. Carroll to show you exactly what she sees in clear detail. We find that when patients can see their own x-rays and photos, they can make more confident and informed decisions about their care.

Laser Dentistry

Laser Dentistry

We use dental lasers for a range of soft tissue procedures, including gum contouring and gum disease treatment. Laser treatment is precise, minimally invasive, and typically requires less recovery time than traditional methods. Dr. Carroll also uses it with in-office whitening treatments to enhance and accelerate results.

AI Radiograph Review

AI Radiograph Review

Dr. Carroll uses AI-assisted technology to support x-ray analysis. The system highlights areas of potential concern, such as early decay or bone changes, helping ensure nothing is overlooked. Patients benefit from an additional layer of diagnostic accuracy, and the technology makes it easier to understand what your x-rays show by displaying findings in clear, color-coded detail.

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic X-Rays

A panoramic x-ray captures a single, wide-angle image of your entire mouth, including all teeth, both jaws, the temporomandibular joints, and surrounding bone. It gives Dr. Carroll a comprehensive view that standard x-rays cannot provide. We use panoramic x-rays in treatment planning for implants, Invisalign, extractions, and full smile makeovers, making it an important diagnostic tool for evaluating your overall oral health.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays capture detailed images of your teeth, roots, and bone using a fraction of the radiation of traditional film. The images appear instantly on a chairside screen, allowing Dr. Carroll to review findings with you and help you understand the reasoning behind her recommendations. Used across all services, digital x-rays help detect decay, bone loss, and other conditions that are not visible during a standard exam.

Digital Records

Digital Records

Our office maintains fully digital patient records, including x-rays, photos, treatment history, and clinical notes. Digital records are immediately accessible to all team members, easy to share with specialists when referrals are needed, and more secure than paper files. They also allow Dr. Carroll to track changes in your oral health over time and make more informed treatment decisions.
