Not everyone fits the twice-yearly model. Dr. Carroll may recommend visits every three to four months if you have:

- A higher-than-average cavity risk
- Dry mouth from medications or medical conditions
- Diabetes or other systemic conditions linked to oral health
- A history of frequent cavities or infections
